Dolphins

As locals we still love to see them playing, feeding and living here in the Bay of Islands. When you encounter them, either from the boat or in the water you will leave entranced, enthralled and feeling privileged to have spent time with these large, gentle, intelligent creatures. There are a number of dolphin watching and swimming tours in the Bay of Islands. They are all different but the encounters are never less than special. And the cruise operators take extraordinary care to make sure that the dolphins are not harmed.
