We're located in the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, overlooking the ocean in a beautiful restive spot. We’re in our 13th year now, winning a few awards on the way and establishing ourselves as a firm local favourite. Our menu is based on locally-grown fresh produce and lively flavours.

The cafe has a lovely informal feel; we’re always friendly and laid back. Our menu which changes with the seasons although a few favourites always remain.

For weddings and functions - celebrate your special occasion in the historic surroundings of the Treaty Grounds. Our spacious cafe is adjoined by native bush and the waters of the Bay, with a large outdoor area perfect for family and friends to gather.

We cater for your individual needs, with personalised menus and gourmet finger food. Remember we’ll also come to a location of your choice too.

Waikokopu is family run. Amanda Turner delivers a pristine front-of-house service while chef Hughie Blues runs an energetic kitchen.
