Sail Te Kaihau
Sail Te Kaihau is an exhilarating experience. She brings you the beauties of the Bay of Islands from a unique multihull perspective. Te Kaihau is a 53x34ft trimaran, designed by renowned USA designer Dick Newick, owner built and launched in 1994.
She is amazingly graceful on the water and sits comfortably at higher speeds. She presents with an expansive deck and cockpit space and caters for the adrenalin sail experience or tranquil easy cruising, depending on your request. As a stable trimiran, Te Kaihau is soft on fair weather sailors - comfort and security is assured.
Owner/skipper Tom has sailed extensively in the area that includes The Hauraki Gulf to Great Barrier Island, Mercury Bay and Northland.
Your experience with Te Kaihau can involve fishing, snorkelling, swimming, beach and island excursions, not to mention hands on sailing. Delicious picnic lunch provided, bring hat, sunscreen, jacket and togs/towel. Departures from Paihia beach.
