The Poor Knights Islands are only a 35 minute boat ride off the stunning Tutukaka Coast, and are a complete marine and nature reserve. With an 11 million year old volcanic history, we take you right inside the World’s Largest Sea cave and through the largest arches in the Sothern Hemisphere. The Islands are dramatic and beautiful, and the Maori history turbulent and exciting. Whales and dolphins are regular visitors, 100’s of species of fish and bird life; This is one of the World’s top ten spots to view wildlife.
Standup Paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing, with an easy-entry platform, underwater live-video of the fish, full buffet lunch, towel hire and walk-in showers.
All ages, all levels, trips run daily from Tutukaka, from November to May; 11am to 4pm.
